Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. In addition to classic cookies, NetZero E.S. also uses browser local storage (localStorage) mechanisms that serve the same function. In this policy the term "cookie" covers both technologies unless stated otherwise.
The use of non-essential cookie/storage mechanisms is based on the consent requirement of the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, and in Türkiye on the explicit-consent principle of the KVKK. The Platform may use technically essential cookies (required for the service to function) without seeking user approval; non-essential (functional) cookies are activated only when you give explicit consent via the cookie consent bar. Your consent is stored in your browser under the key nz_cerez_tercihi and remains valid until you change it.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention Period |
|---|---|---|---|

nz_cerez_tercihi |
Essential | Remembers your cookie consent choice and prevents the banner from being shown again. | Persistent (until you change it) |
nz_onboarding_tamamlandi_* |
Functional | Remembers that you completed the welcome wizard. | Persistent |
The Platform does not use third-party advertising/tracking cookies.
Google Firebase is used for authentication and database infrastructure, and Shopier for payment processing. These providers may use limited technical cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies; those cookies are not controlled directly by NetZero E.S. The Platform does not use third-party advertising/tracking (retargeting) cookies or analytics tracking tools (such as Google Analytics).
On your first visit you can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the cookie consent bar that appears at the bottom of the screen. You can reset your choice at any time by clearing local storage data (localStorage) in your browser settings — in that case the cookie consent bar will appear again on your next visit. Most browsers also offer settings that let you block or delete cookies; however, blocking essential cookies may prevent some core Platform functions (e.g. staying signed in) from working.
Rejecting non-essential (functional) cookies DOES NOT block the Platform's core calculation functions — the Platform continues to work fully. You may, however, notice the following concrete differences: your chosen interface language (nz_dil) will not be remembered between visits and will revert to the default language (Turkish); the fact that you previously completed the welcome wizard (onboarding) may not be remembered and the wizard may appear again. Essential cookies (keeping the session open, your cookie preference itself) continue to be used in all cases, because without them the Platform cannot function in terms of basic security and functionality.
This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time in line with technical changes to the Platform or regulatory updates. The current policy is always published on this page.
