These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between the Platform and the natural or legal persons ("User") who use the services offered at the domain netzeroes.com.tr under the name NetZero E.S. (Emission Systems) ("Platform", "we"), which is developed as a student/personal project. For detailed information about the fact that there is no registered company behind the Platform and that this is a student/personal project, see the "Nature of the Platform" section of the Privacy Policy. By registering with or using the Platform, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
NetZero E.S. is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform offering greenhouse gas emission (Scope 1-2-3), water footprint, circular economy score, CBAM tax simulation, product carbon footprint (PCF), EU Taxonomy/TCFD risk score and related reporting tools based on the IPCC AR6, DEFRA and GHG Protocol standards. The calculation results and PDF reports produced by the Platform are generated automatically from data declared by the user and constitute a draft consistent with ISO 14064-1 principles; they do not replace a formal third-party verification/assurance process (see Article 11). The source of every formula and emission factor used is transparently disclosed on our References page.
To register with the Platform you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity. Users under 18 may use the Platform only with the knowledge and consent of, and on behalf of, their parent or guardian. Being a university/high-school student does not remove this age requirement for academic accounts.
The Platform offers different subscription tiers: Standard, Academic, Pro and Enterprise. Payments for paid plans are collected securely through the Shopier payment infrastructure; card details are not stored on Platform servers. Subscriptions work as a one-off charge for the selected period (monthly/annual); there is no automatic renewal. The user is notified via the dashboard before the plan period ends; expired Pro/Enterprise subscriptions are automatically downgraded to the Standard/Academic plan. Corporate (custom-priced) arrangements are covered by a separate agreement. Coupon codes are valid within their stated validity period and conditions of use.
The Platform offers a Referral/Invitation programme that encourages users to bring in new users by sharing the personal invitation link on their profile page. The programme works as follows:
API key creation and ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, Logo/Mikro, etc.) are available only to Enterprise plan users. API keys are displayed in full ONLY ONCE, at the moment of creation; after that the full key is never shown again anywhere (including in the Platform interface) and only a shortened preview is stored. If you lose your key you must create a new one. The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality and secure storage of their API key; all requests made with your key are deemed to be yours. Usage exceeding fair-use limits (daily request count) may be temporarily restricted.
The Platform's software, design, brand, logo and calculation methodology belong to its developer and are protected under intellectual property legislation. The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use to access the Platform for the duration of use in accordance with these Terms. The data the User uploads to the Platform and the reports produced from that data belong to the User.
The User is solely responsible for the accuracy of all data uploaded to the Platform via Excel/CSV bulk import or form entry, and for holding the right to upload/share that data. The Platform processes uploaded data only for performance of the service (calculation, reporting, anomaly detection).
On some pages the Platform may provide links to third-party services (e.g. VirusTotal, for those who wish to test the site's security independently). These third-party services are not under the Platform's control; a User who chooses to use these links becomes subject to that third party's own terms of use and privacy policy, and the Platform cannot be held responsible for any consequences arising from the use of those tools.
The Platform is provided "as is". No express or implied warranty is given that calculation results will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. The results produced by the calculation engine depend on the accuracy of the data entered/declared by the user and do not replace a formal greenhouse gas assurance report; for such formal needs, working with an accredited verification body is recommended. Bearing in mind that the Platform is a student/personal project, independent verification of results is strongly recommended in critical/official declaration processes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform cannot be held liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption) arising from its use or inability to be used. The Platform's total liability shall in no case exceed the total subscription fees paid by the User in the twelve (12) months preceding the date of the relevant event.
In the event of a breach of these Terms, suspicion of abuse, or a legal obligation, the Platform may suspend or terminate the User's account with or without prior notice. The User may close their account at any time; data retention processes after closure are subject to the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the Terms.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes are announced through the Platform; continuing to use the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
For questions about these Terms you can contact us at help@netzeroes.com.tr.
